The race, by the will of the organizing committee, is dedicated to the memory of Renzo Campaner, with the desire to keep alive the memory of a great enthusiast as well as the excellent ACSI Cycling guide of the province of Treviso.

RACE THE PEARL is a 24 Hr Cycling Challenge that will push all known physical and mental boundaries in an attempt to ride a bicycle across Sri Lanka, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Some will Race and some will Ride. The route is between the furthest two points of Point Pedro and Dondra head and will almost bisect the island and take you through a varied mix of terrain of pan-flat straight-arrow roads, mild uphills and downhills, green and barren land, while riding through day and night, rain and shine. A popular and highly competitive event, run in the flat desert east of San Diego, CA. The course runs on an 18mi, mostly-flat loop, changing to a shorter loop for the last portion of the available time. The event often fills, so registration as early as possible is advised. (Note, while the name of this event includes the wording as world championship, it is not sanctioned as such by WUCA and the bonus points associated with that status do not apply.)

The Deccan Cliffhanger is India’s signature Ultracycle Race! The race starts on the Deccan Plateau, goes over the Sahyadri mountains and drops through dense forests covered cliffs to finish on the coastline in Goa. A 646 Km (400 Mile) Ultra Cycling Race from Pune to Goa, comprising solo and relay team categories. The Relay event is RAAM style, and the Solo Race is a Race Across America Qualifier.
