This final one being the West to East Crossing ridden by Jerry Schemmel and Julie Lyons . The starting point was at the Colorado/Utah state line on Hwy 50 west of Fruita, Colorado. Rider’s Narrative Summary - Cross Colorado North to South This was a record attempt crossing Colorado from North (Cheyenne, WY) to South (Raton, New Mexico) by Julie Lyons and Jerry Schemmel on August 20, 2018 starting at 5:43 am from the zero mile marker on Hwy 85 on the Wyoming/Colorado state line. The record attempt I, Peter Brendan, went for was Wisconsin from E - W. I started at 4:50 AM on June 16th 2018 at the bridge on the WI/MI state line on US 41 over the Menominee River at Marinette, WI. It was slightly damp and was twilight. Marinette was very sleepy as I started my attempt, except for a few sprinklers not much was happening. It was extremely quiet and within 15 minutes I was already seeing Wisconsin farms.
