I started with gravel races like the 500km Dirty Kanza and it evolved into multi-day adventure cycling tours across Europe. The pinnacle of my ultra endurance cycling career was the 3000km Vuelta a Espana where I rode all 21 stages of one of the Grand Tours on the same day as the male professionals (there is [...]

My ultracycling career has been brief but exciting so far. In September 2020 I had the honour of becoming Ireland’s first female solo World UltraCycling Association record holder by setting a cost-to-coast record for Ireland west to east. This was my first foray into the world of ultracycling – and what an incredible introduction it was. The experience has certainly made me keen to participate in more ultracycling events.

I know most people think a 112-116mi time trial bike race as part of the full distance Ironman is an awesome race and it isn’t easy, [...]

Attempting Paris-Brest-Paris 2019 after hearing about it just a few months before. —-Riding Thailands ISAN 2020km ride  in Feb 2020 was such a blessing in year 2020 just before Covid took over our lives. The sights, sounds and food of Thailand are forever etched in my memory. The kindness of Thai people is truly something to be experienced riding a bike.
