Chris “Hoppo” Hopkinson
wendy22023-04-03T19:35:34-07:00Chris Hopkinson (known to most as Hoppo) is the newest recipient of the UltraCyclist-of-distinction (UCD) award, based upon an outstanding three-year period of performance and service. In 2012, Hoppo took ninth place in the Ultra Cup and the World Cup with over 100 points in each. Almost doubling his points in 2013, Hoppo moved up to second in both competitions. And to cap it all, in 2014 Hoppo took second in the World Cup and won the Ultra Cup, with over 600 points in each competition. wendy22023-04-03T19:35:33-07:00Nancy Guth Nancy Guth earned her UCD award for the years 2009-20013, with Cup competition, record setting, RAAM Qualifying and RAAM itself. Nancy’s Cup exploits from 2009-2013 include 165 points in 2012 and 210 points in 2013, gained by racing as a team with her husband John. In both 2012 and 2013, Nancy and John won the Cup championship for Mixed Team category (both Ultra Cup and World Cup).
