Rider’s Summary Report

I’m very grateful for the support of family and friends. It was a special treat to have Maria Parker officiate and attend my first event on the Cruzbike.

The ride started at 0800 MT on 12/14/2025 in Phoenix, AZ on the Lakewood Parkway loop outside of the school on the southern part of the loop.

It was a clear, partially cloudy day with low winds. Temps in lower 50s to mid 70s. The wind was not opportune as it was pushing against me on the only elevation of the route. Therefore, speeds were oscillating even more with 22-23 mph on the one side and 28-30 on the other.

I wanted to do the record as part of my goal to push myself as far as I can and see what I can accomplish on different bikes and in different events.

Bike setup: Cruzbike v20c with ENVE 6.7 and full disc wheel. SRAM drivetrain rotor q ring. Ceramic speed bb and OSPW.

Nutrition: Formula 369 for most of the nutrition. 150g an hour for 600 cals an hour with another 100 calories an hour from fig newtons.

The best part was continuing to train on Cruzbike.

The hardest part was continuing to grow efficiency on the Cruzbike.

A fun part is the neighborhood came out to support after one resident posted on their FB page. One guy cheered me on for 7 hours.

I finished at 2000 MT where I started in order to prorate the last lap.

My wife Bailey was my main crew with my dad helping with driving.

Laura and John Crawford were our locals hosts and so good to us.

It’s great to be part of the ultra cycling family.

Special shout out to Amber Maynard for helping with our children during the event.
