The route is based entirely in Oregon, beginning and ending in Portland, with breathtaking scenery. Steens Mountain is a 30 mile long mountain, the highest unpaved road in the state. Then Mt. Mazama, more commonly known as Crater Lake National Park, a giant Cascade volcano with what might be the world’s most pristine lake. Additionally, it’s home to the highest paved road in Oregon.
