The Deccan Cliffhanger is India’s signature Ultracycle Race! The race starts on the Deccan Plateau, goes over the Sahyadri mountains and drops through dense forests covered cliffs to finish on the coastline in Goa. Inspire India brings you the world’s highest Ultra Race… With a start point elevation higher than any point on any Ultra Race in the world! Racers must report one week before the start of the race for acclimatization. For 2022, there will be three events; 444km solo self-supported, 600km solo or relay, and 900km solo or relay. The 600 and 900 km events are now recognized as RAAM Qualifiers for the solo racers. The 444km race is not a RAAM qualifier.
