6,250 kilometres down the eastern regions of Australia starting at Cape York, the northern tip of Australia and finishing at Wilsons Promontory the southern most mainland point. The route is North to South - there is no other option.

Bessies Creek 511 has moved to a more quiet course and a new date of NOV 8, allowing for racers to ride 36 hours to complete the course. RAAM qualifier for those who race the 24 hour race, must ride 400+ miles for RAAM qualifier.
