SUMMARY:Gimme 3 Gran Fondo 2019
DESCRIPTION:The Gimme 3 Gran Fondo is a cycling event hosted by the Laurens Police Department’s Bicycle Unit comprised of circuits on the flat\, smooth test tracks of the Michelin North America Proving Grounds.  THE 100-mi EVENT HAS BEEN SELECTED AS THE 2019 WUCA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CENTURY RACE. \nRacing will be entirely on the test tracks of the Michelin Proving Grounds which are closed to vehicles which are not support vehicles. All riders will begin with a 3.7 mile loop on the oval track 1 with the remainder of miles ridden on a 5.9 mile circuit which combines tracks 1 and 2. \nCombining no traffic with only 1\,500 feet of elevation gain over 104 miles\, this is the best opportunity in upstate South Carolina to set a century PR\, or complete your first century many will ever have. All while supporting the mission of the Laurens Police Department’s Bike Unit to “encourage and improve cycling.” \nNOTE: This Championship race’s date has changed from Dec 7 to Nov 16 due to track availability with Michelin.

SUMMARY:Deccan Cliffhanger 2019
DESCRIPTION:The Race starts in Pune\, the city of cycles\, and finishes in Goa\, on the sea shore. Set on the Deccan Plateau\, the route follows the Sahyadri Range\, which defines the western edge of the Deccan\, finally dropping through dense forests that cover the cliffs of the Escarpment\, into the Konkan as it heads to the Indian Ocean. The solo event is a RAAM Qualifier.
