SUMMARY:Ultra Spice 1750 2024
DESCRIPTION:Route – A longer race of 120 hrs that is a RAAM Qualifier for solo and has 2\, 3 or 4 person team categories. The Race follows the same route at the 1000 till it touches the Mangalore-Bangalore highway. There instead of heading back\, the route continues south along the Western ghats\, rolling through spectacular coffee and spice plantations of Coorg. From there it descends down from the Sahyadris to Iritty in Kerala before heading up to Wayanad. Heading into the Nilgiri mountains through Eucalyptus trees the route climbs up to Ooty at 2200Mt through a winding 25 km route. Turning around the route returns the same way to the Mangalore-Bangalore highway and turns to descend towards the coast. From Mangalore the route follows the coastline back to Goa. DESCRIPTION:As the name suggests\, Race Romantika Uz Beas is romancing alongwith Beas\, as through most of the route racers would experience beauty of river Beas going alongwith the route. At some patches\, it touches the edges of the road even.\nThe event will see the racers starting from the Chohal Lake situated in the vicinity of Hoshiarpur\, then entering into the Land of Gods Himachal Pradesh\, passing through Mubarakapur\, Maa Chintpurni\, Dhaliara they will reach Dehra Gopipur that is a town situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Situated at an average elevation of 503 meters\, Dehra Gopipur is regarded as one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the country. There are as number of beautiful locations in and around the region. The scenic surroundings\, the flowing Beas River and the Pong Reservoir make this place more appealing among the tourists. \nParagpur\, a small town located in Dehra Gopipur has been enlisted as the World Heritage Village in India. The pristine beauty and glorious historical background has earned this place\, the tag of being a wonderful destination that showcases the traditional values of the local folks. Dehra Gopipur has wonderful climatic condition throughout the year. \nThe Race route goes through Nagrota Bagwan towards the most scenic surroundings of tea estates near Palampur.At some points\, toy train can also be seen alongwith the race route. After Joginder Nagar while Race proceeds towards Kullu -the turn around point of the Romantika Uz Beas is there which is famous for World renowned Dussehra. Racers would return back through the same route to Hoshairpur. \nAs this Race is happening in the month of June\, when Fahrenheit scale is at its peak\, but the interesting part is that Racers would experience mild weather overall except 12p.m. to 3p.m.and nights would be colder. \nAt this part of year\, no one can think of Ultra Race in Indian Weather but route and location is more appropriate and appealing to attempt RQ Romantika Uz Beas. \nBeing Summer holidays\,it can be a complete familiy affair for the support crew\, enjoying the route and boosting up the Racer. If attempting in team\, it would be a great experience not only to test the metal of the team on the terrain as well as enjoy the route to the fullest. Being one of the most scenic route in the World\, even a wild attempt with friends accompanying as support crew would be worth a take.

SUMMARY:Roughneck Gravel Roubaix - The McKinney 250
DESCRIPTION:The Roughneck Gravel Roubaix that was founded in 2022 and is going into it’s third year as an event.  Many of completed the 100 mile distance\, have asked us to add an Ultra\, so we have created this for 2024 and beyond.  In the first year the event will be a 250 mile gravel road ultra\, boasting >85% gravel\, beautiful climbs in and out of the Allegheny River Valley and the Valley that changed the world.  The host town Titusville Pennsylvania is one of the most historical towns in the world that you may have never heard of.  Titusville is the home of the first modern production oil well\, it’s a small town nestled in Northwest Pennsylvania that almost every major oil company can trace its roots back to\, this town is the reason for the Sherman Anti-trust act\, this town is where John Heisman played his High School Football\, so to simply say this town is packed with history is an understatement. \n  \nThe 2024 Route will be a 250 mile route with 21\,000 feet of climbing.  The event will start Friday night May 24\, 2024 and have a cut off time of 30 hours.  The final route is still being curated\, as we design the routes\, then thoroughly vest them for safety inspecting every mile both by car and by bike.  The route will be semi-supported with bag drops\, natural springs\, and on the second half access to the aid-stations of the other distances.  However\, we recommend you treat this as a self-supported event as the region is very rural\, with very few convenience stores\, but there are quite a few natural springs!

DESCRIPTION:Beginning in Oceanside\, California and continuing non-stop to the finish in Annapolis\, Maryland\, the Race Across America (RAAM) is one of the most well known ultra-endurance events across all sports. It has been running since the early 1980’s and while it has included finishes by professional cyclists\, it has also seen its share of relative newcomers to competitive cycling. There are race formats that welcome solo riders as well as two\, four\, or eight person relay teams. Solo racers must qualify by performance in at least one ‘RAAM Qualifier’ event. Qualification standards do not apply to relay teams. RAAM does require a support crew and can not be raced in an unsupported format. For those interested in a shorter\, but still very demanding event\, consider the Race Across the West\, or RAW\, which covers the first ~1\,000 miles of the same course\, finishing in Durango\, Colorado.

DESCRIPTION:TORTOUR Ultra is the largest multi-day non-stop ultracycling event in the world. The race\, which starts and finishes in Zurich\, demands everything from cyclists and their crew: a 1000-kilometer non-stop race over several Alpine passes around Switzerland can be conquered in just two days – day and night\, solo or in a team. The hard\, sweaty adventure promises unforgettable emotions and a unique cycling experience. The official Swiss Ultracycling Championships are held in this format every year.The TORTOUR Ultra format leads over around 1\,000 kilometers. The individual riders and teams need between 26 and 52 hours for this route.\nThe race runs day and night – a great challenge for both riders and team.\nSolo\, 2-person and 4-person teams as well as the Open category (5-8 athletes)\nMen\, women and mixed categories\nControl or changing posts (timestations) approx. Every 50 kilometers\nThere is only one rider riding at a time\, the others ride in the support vehicle and change at the timestations. Exception: The whole team rides together on the first stage\, in the middle of the race\, and the last stage.
