DESCRIPTION:We feature a non drafting 24 hour RAAM qualifier race and a drafting 12 hour race\, along with a 100 Mile Race. A non competitive century ride is also an option for those looking to enjoy a more leisurely pace.\nThe 26 mile loop will take you through rural areas of Beaufort County. We are located in the coastal region of North Carolina. This is an extremely flat course! It is the perfect venue for riders that are self supported. You are allowed to park your vehicle inside the secure “Bus” parking lot. This is what serves as the Start/Finish line\, you will pass by the time check after each lap. So feel free to set up your supplies for the day. There is a grassy area that you can set up a canopy for your crew as well. On site setup is to begin no earlier than 5am on day of event and must be removed by 10am the following morning. Online registration is available at BikeReg.com.

SUMMARY:Race Around Aomori 2024
DESCRIPTION:The 1000km race makes a big loop around the boundary of Aomori Prefecture\, taking the racer from the Pacific Coast to the Japan Sea Coast. Minimal traffic roads will take the rider through pine forests that line rugged coastlines\, birch covered mountains\, three large lakes\, rice fields and apple orchards surrounding the conical shaped Mountain Iwaki. An additional perk of this ride is a communal hot spring bath right on a beach that the racer might love dipping into before resuming on the last 250km stretch of the race.

DESCRIPTION:We feature a non drafting 24 hour RAAM qualifier race and a drafting 12 hour race\, along with a 100 Mile Race. A non competitive century ride is also an option for those looking to enjoy a more leisurely pace.\nThe 26 mile loop will take you through rural areas of Beaufort County. We are located in the coastal region of North Carolina. This is an extremely flat course! It is the perfect venue for riders that are self supported. You are allowed to park your vehicle inside the secure “Bus” parking lot. This is what serves as the Start/Finish line\, you will pass by the time check after each lap. So feel free to set up your supplies for the day. There is a grassy area that you can set up a canopy for your crew as well. DESCRIPTION:The Tour of Central Iowa is multi-distance\, multi-surface bicycle event that takes place in beautiful rural south central Iowa. Most racers will choose to tackle the Friday evening hill climb\, or the Saturday 100K\, or 200K gravel races as a solo endeavor. Some will find an adventurous partner and tackle the 200K distance as a team.\nA select few will take on the ultimate challenge of the Mann Powered 380\, honoring Joe Mann. Joe was a fellow Iowan\, an avid endurance cyclist\, and dear friend who was taken from the lives of those who loved and knew him far too soon. This 380 mile route starts early Saturday morning\, and will include both paved roads and gravel roads. You can choose to race with a support crew that can meet you at designated support locations\, or race self-supported\, randonneur style. Both categories will have a 38 hour time limit.

Racers must report one week before the start of the race for acclimatization. For 2022\, there will be three events; 444km solo self-supported\, 600km solo or relay\, and 900km solo or relay. The 600 and 900 km events are now recognized as RAAM Qualifiers for the solo racers. The 444km race is not a RAAM qualifier. \nSPECIAL NOTE: Being a High Altitude Race\, all racers will be required (mandatory) to report in Leh between 8-10 days before race start. While this is for us to establish that racers get the bare minimum acclimatization\, it is highly recommended that racers arrive 12-14 days in advance to ensure that they acclimatize satisfactorily. This is particularly necessary if racers are flying directly into Leh. Option is to reach Srinagar or Manali and drive to Leh\, in order to have a slower transition to high altitude.

The race\, which starts and finishes in Zurich\, demands everything from cyclists and their crew: a 1000-kilometer non-stop race over several Alpine passes around Switzerland can be conquered in just two days – day and night\, solo or in a team. The hard\, sweaty adventure promises unforgettable emotions and a unique cycling experience. The official Swiss Ultracycling Championships are held in this format every year.The TORTOUR Ultra format leads over around 1\,000 kilometers. The individual riders and teams need between 26 and 52 hours for this route.\nThe race runs day and night – a great challenge for both riders and team.\nSolo\, 2-person and 4-person teams as well as the Open category (5-8 athletes)\nMen\, women and mixed categories\nControl or changing posts (timestations) approx. Every 50 kilometers\nThere is only one rider riding at a time\, the others ride in the support vehicle and change at the timestations.
