The UltraMarathon Cycling Association is open to anyone interested in endurance cycling. New members receive the back issues of Ultra Cycling for the current year as well as the UMCA handbook, Preparing for Long Rides.
Memberships are for the calendar year.
Dues for different membership plans and programs are listed below.
All members:
- Receive the bi-monthly publication Ultra Cycling with expert advice on cycling, training, equipment, nutrition, race strategy, and mental preparation.
- Participate in the UMCA Year-Rounder Challenge; riders accumulate mileage for cycling a century or longer ride, either organized bike rides or personally designed endurance rides.
- Challenge yourself to earn the Larry Schwartz Award. Can you bike a century every month?
- Race in 12- and 24-hour races, RAAM qualifiers and RAAM and compete in the Ultra Cycling Cup Competition to determine the best endurance racer each season.
- Challenge an existing cycling record or establish a new record. Bicycle records include state crossings, century & double century, 12-, and 24-hour road & track records and various point-to-point records,.
- For crew members, a six month membership is available, including the UMCA handbook Crewing with Fuzzy.

The UMCA is a not-for-profit and we mail the magazine to US members at the special non-profit rate. Postage costs are higher to mail to members outside the US.
